About Us 2025

At Free Spirit Outlet, we’re more than just a fitness apparel brand—we’re a passion-driven team that does it all from the ground up. Founded by Taylor and Ben in 2018, we are a self-funded company with no outside investors, which means every decision we make is intentional, and every product we create is a true testament to our dedication and perseverance.

Our journey started when Ben was the GM of LA Fitness, and Taylor was working on a bachelor’s degree while balancing her love for fitness. What began as a shared passion turned into a vision: to create high-quality, innovative athletic wear that stands out in both performance and style. In July 2018, we launched our website, ready to take on the challenge.

Building Free Spirit Outlet hasn’t been easy. We’ve sifted through over 100 manufacturers, refining our products until they met our high standards. We’ve even had our fair share of mishaps—like the time we received leggings with the logo printed on the front of the crotch (yes, really). But every mistake has made us stronger, pushing us to perfect our craft.

Today, we’re a small but mighty team of 5, wearing every hat—from designing and manufacturing to social media and customer service. Since we don’t have outside funding, our process takes longer, but that’s because we believe in doing things the right way, not the fast way. We have so many ideas for new items we want to create, but quality takes time, and we are committed to making every product the best it can be.

We believe in our products so much that even other brands white label from us, recognizing the quality and craftsmanship we put into every piece.
